Nat Geo WILD episode featuring the Shoal Creek SHU

GSA recently assisted a crew from Red Rock Films, of Silver Spring, Maryland, who were in the region filming wildlife for an episode of a five-part series on Nat Geo WILD entitled "America's Wild Frontier." The episode focused on the Appalachian Mountains. Stuart McGregor, along with Jeff Garner of DCNR, Guenter Schuster, retired professor from Eastern Kentucky University, Chris Taylor of the Illinois Natural History Survey, and Jeff Ray and Ben Wilson of the University of North Alabama, assisted by collecting fishes and crayfishes from Shoal Creek in Lauderdale County, a Strategic Habitat Unit, for the episode.
